To promote public safety and better assist local law enforcement, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has issued special event permits to accommodate activities for this weekend’s 50thAnniversary Brush Run at Crandon International
August 30, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the parade, US 8 will be detoured via County S to WIS 55 back to US 8. WIS 32 and WIS 55 is detoured via Glen Street and Wildwood Avenue.
August 30, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
For the Kid Rock concert, US 8 will be detoured via County S to WIS 55 back to US 8. This detour will not impact downtown Crandon as WIS 32/WIS 55 will not be detoured at this time.
Motorists are advised to watch for pedestrians and may need to slow down and stop on US 8 throughout the weekend to allow pedestrians safe passage across US 8. Message boards and signage will be in place to notify motorists of these closures and detours.
