The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board reports it is helping 41 Kmart employees who stand to lose their jobs in November. Those workers could be eligible to get up to 30-thousand dollars through the national Retail Dislocated Worker Grant program. The money would be used for training for new careers, including tuition, housing and other needs. The Waupaca store is scheduled to close in mid-November, even though the location wasn’t listed in previous closing announcements.
