If you want to include more dairy education at your local school take advantage of Wisconsin’s Ag in the Classroom program. Informational meetings will be held around the state this fall to offer an opportunity to learn more about the Ag in the Classroom program, events and resources. Volunteers, teachers and others involved in agricultural literacy are encouraged to attend. There is no charge or pre-registration required. All meetings will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Meeting dates and locations include:

Thursday, September 26 Waupaca Area Public Library – Room A
Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom program provides teachers and K-12 students with an understanding of how their food is produced. The program seeks to work within existing curricula to provide basic information on agriculture.
