A 45 year old Marion Man faces felony charges including stealing tens of thousands of dollars while serving as treasurer for the Pella Fire Department. Lyle L. Krueger appeared in Shawano County Court Thursday. Krueger was charged with Theft-Business Setting >$10,000-$100,000, Misconduct/Office-Act/Excess Authority, Possession of Methamphetamine, all felonies, and a misdemeanor charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. The Court also ordered Krueger to maintain absolute sobriety, visit no Class B licensed establishments, no travel outside the state without prior court approval, no contact with any casino anywhere, no contact with any Town of Pella elected official or the town hall, and no contact with Fire Department officers directly or indirectly. Krueger’s initial appearance is scheduled for September 9, 2019 at 01:30 pm.
