Madison police have taken an 18-year-old woman into custody for sucker-punching a mother during a fight at a swimming pool last weekend. Officers say Heavyn S. Rodgers also hit one of them while they tried to control the situation. A 29-year-old pregnant woman was kicked in the stomach. The argument started when a 38-year-old woman put some of her belongings in three poolside chairs to hold them while she went to the concession stand. Three other women sat in the chairs while she was away.
