(Schofield, WI) — Zachary Wakeen tells investigators he fell asleep after unloading his car and forgot his two-year-old son was inside. The boy was left there for 10 hours while the temperature inside the vehicle topped 135 degrees. Wakeen entered a not guilty plea to child neglect charges during a Monday hearing in Marathon County Circuit Court. The family says the boy is out of the hospital and is doing better.
