Yesterday a search warrant was executed on a residence in the Town of Wescott, Shawano County. The search warrant was part of an ongoing drug investigation. Over 27 grams of methamphetamine, 25 marijuana plants, and 216 grams of additional THC products were located during the search. A male and a female from the Shawano area were taken into custody, along with an additional male from Oconto County. Charges are being referred to the Shawano County District Attorney’s Office. Agencies involved in the case include The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office, Shawano Police Department, Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). No further details will be released at this time.
