Press release from Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office
Two brothers, Nick and Justin Diemel came to Missouri for business. They were to fly back on Sunday 07/21/2019 and both missed their flight. Both men were entered in as missing persons by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin. A call was made to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office to check on the missing brothers. Information was received and their rental truck was discovered at 1-35 and PP Highway in Clinton County. The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office recovered the rental truck and had it processed. Search warrants have been served and searches have been made in both Clinton and Caldwell Counties.
Today active searches have or are being conducted in both counties. Investigators are currently searching the area behind a residence on Catawba Road in Caldwell County. They are checking buildings, ponds and waste piles. This is still a very active investigation.
