Albert L. “Al” Gschwind, age 69 of Cecil, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Aurora BayCare Health Center in Green Bay.
Al was born on March 10, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Sam and Doris (Peters) Gschwind. He attended and graduated from Lake View High School. On July 12, 1969 he married the former Jeanette Griangrego in Jefferson, NC. Al drove a semi for over 35 years, mostly heavy equipment. He then bought and sold heavy machinery on his own. Al enjoyed raising his beef cattle and tending to his horses. He also loved attending auctions, and getting a good deal when he could.
Survivors include his loving wife of just over 50 years, Jeanette, of Cecil; two sons, Tom Gschwind of Mattoon, WI and Jerry Gschwind of Cecil. Al was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam, John, and Tom Gschwind.
In keeping with Al’s wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
