A Brown County Circuit judge has sentenced a convicted killer to 25 years in prison. Thirty-one-year-old Richard McKinney entered an Alford plea to charges he killed another man during a 2016 drug deal. McKinney will also be on extended supervision for 20 years when he completes his prison term. Another man, Michael McCalvin, is already serving 10 years for setting up the meeting for a drug sale between McKinney and the victim, Guled Hirsi.
