Reinhardt Foods has been sold for 2 billion dollars. Performance Food Group Company acquired Reinhardt Foodservice, L.L.C. from Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. in the transaction. Reinhardt operated in Shawano for 39 years out of their Richmond Street location. The acquisition won’t have any effect on the current 268 full time employees of Reinhardt. In fact, 15 new jobs are expected to be added when the new distribution center on county road B is completed, and another 50 new positions will be added over the next ten years. Reinhardt is the second largest privately-held food service distributor in the U.S., and is a part of the Reyes Family of Businesses.
