Charges have been filed against a 43-year-old man who was wounded in an officer-involved shooting almost two weeks ago. Things started with a report of a domestic disturbance in Shiocton. Jakeus Meltz left that scene and traveled to Little Chute, where he was contacted by an Outagamie County deputy. Meltz was shot, deputies say, because he had made a movement toward his waist. He faces charges of stalking, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
