Brown County authorities think they have two out-of-state women in custody who are involved in a number of thefts across the state of Wisconsin. Deputies arrested 26-year-old Anjelica Marie Marsala of Illinois and Ashley Marie Belvins of Tennessee last week. Tellers at a bank in De Pere had called when the women tried to cash a fraudulent check. Investigators think the two are associated with the so-called Felony Lane Gang, a group of thieves who break into cars, steal checks and identification and go to branch banks to clean out their accounts.
