
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from a woman serving 23 years for killing her mother and stepfather. Ashlee Martinson was 17 years old when she did it. Her lawyers argue she didn’t think she had a choice at the time due to her history and mental state. She was found guilty of second-degree intentional homicide in Oneida County Circuit Court. Her lawyers were going to ask for a reduced sentence for her.
