A federal judge has sentenced a Manitowoc man to seven years in federal prison for ripping people off in a three-million dollar Ponzi scheme. James A. Nickels was accused of failing to tell investors in a business called The Fiscal Concierge he was using money from new clients to pay previous investors and cover his own personal expenses. Nickels has been ordered to pay three-point-three-million dollars in restitution.
