A Brown County Circuit judge has found the man accused of stabbing a Green Bay police dog incompetent to stand trial. Sai Vang will be committed in an effort to return him to competence. A hearing will be held in late August. Sai Vang is charged with one felony and two misdemeanors for the April incident where he seriously wounded the police dog named Pyro. Nearly two months after nearly losing his life in a stabbing, Pyro is back on full duty. Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith and handler Officer Scott Salzmann made the announcement today (Friday) in a Facebook video.
