Living the life style of the rich and famous caught up with 70 year old Archie Overby. The former president of First National Bank in Waupaca faces a 13-count indictment charging him with bank fraud and misapplication of bank funds. Overby allegedly defrauded the bank by spending more than 1.2 million dollars on luxurious personal travel and entertainment for himself, his family and friends. Overby left the bank in May 2016 after an investigation by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, which ordered him to pay $1.6 million in restitution and $100,000 in fines. He faces 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine on each of the 13 counts.
