
A 39-year-old woman from the Menominee reservation faces eight years in prison if convicted of manslaughter charges following a fatal drunken driving crash on the Menominee reservation. Erin D. Schweitzer was allegedly driving her SUV when she crossed the center line on HWY VV near Keshena and struck an oncoming SUV. One of the passengers in the other SUV was killed, while the driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Schweitzer’s blood alcohol content was .29 — more than three and a half times the legal limit for driving
