Nine fire departments battled a barn fire for six hours Wednesday. The fire took place at Kuhn Farms, on Deering road on the Shawano /Oconto County border in the Town of Underhill. No one was injured in the fire, although three cattle, a sow and piglets died in the fire. The call came in at 4:51 p.m. and crews stayed at the scene until about 10:15 p.m. 55 firefighters used 14 trucks from nine departments to fight the blaze. Gillett Area Ambulance also assisted.
