
Early Thursday morning, the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that a fugitive who was wanted by the Department was at a residence in Pulcifer. Upon arrival at the residence, deputies spoke with a female who answered the door. The female was taken into custody for an outstanding felony probation and parole warrant. She advised deputies’ that the wanted male was inside the residence, but hiding, The Shawano County Rescue Response Team was paged to assist with the search of the residence, The male was located and taken into custody for his outstanding warrants totaling $34,000.
In a face book posting, Sheriff Adam Bieber identified the man as 30 year old Kyle A. Collins of Shawano. The woman arrested was identified as 29 year old Jessica M. Hensel of Suring.
Collins was one of eight people charged in a drug conspiracy case earlier this month. Collins allegedly both bought and sold drugs for Jaral R. McCollum, 39, of Shawano, the man authorities say was the kingpin in the conspiracy. Collins is charged with two counts of conspiracy to deliver or distribute meth and cocaine, and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.
