
A 57 year old Shawano woman is headed to court August 6th facing 2 felony drug charges for allegedly handing out marijuana cookies during a St Patrick’s Day event. Cathleen Krause pled not guilty during a preliminary hearing this week. Shawano County authorities arrested her after receiving a call that a woman was handing out drug-laced cookies during the annual holiday parade at Wescott’s Mooseyard. Krause is facing a felony count of manufacture and delivery of marijuana for allegedly handing out the cookies, and a felony count of possession of marijuana for the drug-laced gummy candy. if convicted, she faces a maximum possible penalty of 3½ years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
