When a semi tractor-trailer crashed on northbound Interstate 41 Monday morning, the truck carrying more than 20 tons of meat caught on fire. Grant Chute firefighters were called to the location shortly before 6:00 A-M. After the flames were put out, it still took several hours to clean up the roadway. There were no reports of any injuries. All lanes of northbound I-41 were closed for more than four hours.
