On 03/27/2019 the New London Police Department arrested 37 year old Eric Stern of New
London for the October 5 th , 2018 opioid overdose death of 26 year old Shane Heuer.
Eric Stern was referred to the Waupaca County DA for charges of: 1 st degree reckless homicide
Stern was booked into the Waupaca County Jail on 03/27/2019. New London PD does not have
a booking photo.
Stern is expected to be charged on 03/29/2019.
There will be no other information released on this case as it is still an active investigation.
