An 82-year-old man accused of a 1976 murder is scheduled to make an appearance in a Marinette County Circuit Courtroom this afternoon. Investigators say advances in D-N-A technology led them to Raymand Vannieuwenhoven and formal charges were filed Thursday. Vannieuwenhoven is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree sexual assault. He was arrested last week in the deaths of 25-year-old David Schuldes and 24-year-old Ellen Matheys.
