Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion is questioning a planned training course for teachers in the Fort Atkinson School District. The professional development day scheduled for March 22nd includes one breakout session with a religious theme. An attorney challenging the plans says even though the course is optional and doesn’t involve students, it violates the U-S Constitution because it endorses religion. Superintendent Lynn Brown says she is consulting with the district’s legal counsel.
