(Merrill, WI) — A 78-year-old man critically wounded during a February shooting incident has died, according to a report from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Seventy-seven-year-old Barbara Renken’s body was found in a home in the town of Pine River February 14th. Authorities had been handling the case as a homicide investigation. John Renken had been critically wounded. No charges were ever filed by the district attorney’s office. Investigators say they have no suspect information.
