The Milwaukee Fire Department says a forklift operator was killed when he fell seven stories down an elevator shaft Monday. The victim’s name hasn’t been released. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy today (Tuesday). The man was dead at the scene. Investigators say the building is apparently being renovated.
