The Clintonville Area Foundation has awarded $9,470 in grants to six charitable organizations serving the Clintonville area. The following grants were approved: CESA 8- $1,250 to sponsor two Clintonville area teachers in the CESA 8 Career Academy Teacher Externship program. Clintonville High School- $2,000 to provide financial support for summer science research scholarships for highly motivated science students. Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes- $1,000 to help provide the Girl Scout leadership experience to girls in the Clintonville community. Navarino Nature Center- $2,000 to support the building of the outdoor education resource facility, Clintonville Area Ambulance Service -$1,500 to provide supplies and training materials, Town of Belle Plaine- $1,720 to the Gibson Island Invasives Reduction effort.
