The City of Clintonville will pay $35,000 in application and administrative fees in an effort to obtain loans and grants to replace the water and sewer lines on 12th and Robert Streets. The Clintonville City Council approved the spending to have MSA prepare the applications of loans and grants. At first the city was going to go with the USDA Rural Development grant but decided against it. With the grant funds the city could get $200,000 toward the projects, the rest will be paid by the water and wastewater fund balance.
