The Suring School District’s school forest is now off limits to hunting officially. The school’s board on Feb. 13 approved a resolution to formally ban hunting in the 160-acre forest in the town of Bagley, which is used for classroom education and community recreation. The board hasn’t received complaints about hunting in the forest, and believes the public just accepted that fact it wasn’t allowed. In addition to installing “No Hunting” signs, the property line will be marked in some fashion.
