Some members of Manawa Rural Fire Department conducted a work detail in which every hydrant in the City of Manawa was cleared free of snow before the next accumulation comes. Members brought in their own shovels and some equipment to get the job done. Many of the hydrants were cleared already, while others needed a little more effort to clear out. The Fire Department members want to thank the community who has already cleared their hydrants already, it is greatly appreciated!
