The New London Council has four people interested in running for the council seats in the First and Fourth District. First District Alderman Robert Besaw will be on the ballot and a write in candidate Mark Herter intends to run against him with a write in campaign. In the fourth district Dave Dorsey, Mike Pinch, and Tim Roberts are looking to fill the seat being vacated by Rob Way. The fourth District covers the southwest side of New London and the First District covers the area from Downtown south of the Wolf River to the Washington Center. The deadline to file as a write in is March 29th.
