An Oconto Falls man faces eight felony charges, six of them concerning alleged attacks on his longtime girlfriend over several months. Kenny D. Carter, 24, who could face more than 70 years in prison, is held on $50,000 cash bond at the Oconto County Jail. Carter is charged with causing a child under 13 to view or listen to sexual activity, felony intimidation of a victim, aggravated battery, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and three counts of strangulation and suffocation. Collectively, these charges carry a maximum prison term of 71.5 years. Carter has an adjourned initial appearance set for Feb. 14.
