A New London man will spend a year in jail following sentencing on a probation revocation in Waupaca County Circuit Court. 23 year old Jamal A. Pointer was originally sentenced to two years probation with a 4-month imposed and stayed jail term. He was convicted of battery and disorderly conduct after breaking another man’s jaw in a fight in the Town of Union in June 2016. Court records indicate Pointer failed to abide by rules of his probation. He was granted Huber privileges while serving his sentence.
