The Wolf River 4-H club will not be doing the usual CP Telethon phone lines at the Richmond Town Hall like they have for so many years. Instead according to Sandy Wendorff due to changes with the official telethon not to have operators standing by at Satellite stations, they have decided to just do the fish bowl events and raffle tickets. Wendorff said they plan to be at Charlie’s County Market on February 16th and 23rd with the Fish Bowls from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and this year they will not be doing the usual Autographed Packer Football but instead some other Packer Memorabilia that they will be raffling off. The money raised goes back to the CP Telethon which will be running from March 2nd to March 3rd.
Last year alone the Wolf River 4-H Club has raised 1854.50 they hope to beat that amount through the raffles and fish bowl events.
