The man accused in the abduction of Jayme Closs and shooting deaths of her parents has a court date Wednesday in Barron County. Twenty-one-year-old Jake Patterson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, kidnapping and burglary. Patterson could enter a plea at the probable cause hearing. Douglas County prosecutors decided not to file additional charges right away in connection with the Gordon area home where Patterson was allegedly holding 13-year-old Jayme against her will. State investigators have been analyzing Patterson’s cellphone to determine the times and dates of the crimes.
