The fundraising activities for Koebel family is ongoing and doing well. The Koebels lost about 50 animals in a barn fire in the town of Matteson, roughly 30 chickens and 20 ducks were lost, three horses ran to the woods and hid there. There is currently a Facebook fundraiser going to get hay for the animals and the latest figures are just under $2500 of the $4000 goal. If you want to donate look for fundraiser for Hay due to barn fire loss. As soon as they close up that fundraiser then they can pay for the hay that was received so far plus also buy some scrap wood that they could use to add on to a small shelter.
