Ruth R. Oestreich, age 81, of Green Bay (formerly Marion) passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home.
Ruth Rachel Oestreich was born on December 23, 1937 in Shawano County, Wisconsin, to Ervin and Emma (Haase) Oestreich. She grew up and attended school in Marion. Ruth was never married and lived for a number of years in different group homes in Oshkosh, Weyauwega, and Green Bay.
Survivors include two siblings; a sister, Eileen (Marlin) Arndt of Marion, and a brother, Jerry (Cinthy Helms) Oestreich of Clintonville. There are two nieces, Debra (Todd) Hintz of Marion and Kathy (Roger) Mathewson of Clintonville; and one nephew, Ron (Lisa) Arndt of Marion. Ruth is further survived by 1 great niece, 8 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces, 11 great-great nephews, several cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Robert.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Pastor Skip Robertson will officiate and inurnment will be at Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
