Frank was born on October 1, 1953 in Keshena, the son of Theodore and Cynthia (Winneschiek) Gauthier, Sr. He attended school in Shawano. Following high school he worked in masonry as a concrete worker, and as a bus driver. On June 3, 1995, he married the former Gail Tucker at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Keshena.
Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car races, playing bingo and slot machines, and racing in the “Fire on Ice” ice races. He was proud to say he had been a track point champion. Frank loved to watch Packer and Brewer games, but above all, Frank enjoyed spending time with his family at different events, especially up at the lake lot. Frank has a strong belief in the Indian Ways, and took pride in passing on his knowledge.
Survivors include his wife, Gail, of Keshena; his son, Ryan Gauthier; grandsons, Michael and Danny Gauthier; great-grandsons, Maxton Gordon and Jeremiah Johnson; his parents, Theodore and Cynthia Gauthier, Sr.; his siblings, Spencer Gauthier, Theodore (Doreen) Gauthier, Jr., Leila Gauthier, Bernadette Gauthier, Cynthia (Daryl) Tucker, Sr., Brian Gauthier, Sr., Diana (Bobby) Waukau, Aliesha Hernandez, and Lydia Garcia; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Algier and Violet Tucker; sisters-in-law, Gaynell Moore, Sandra Johnson, and Guy Tucker; brother-in-law, Leon Penass; his special niece and nephew, Merlyn Fowler and Reynold Gauthier; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Venito “BenBen” Hernandez and Gregory Gauthier; his sister, Letecia Hernandez; his nephews, Tony Gauthier and Reynold Pamaksa; and his niece Arianna Stutleen.
Services for Frank P. Gauthier will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Theodore and Cynthia Gauthier, Sr. residence, N1250 State Highway 47, Neopit, Wisconsin 54150. Mr. Dave Grignon will officiate. Visitation will begin on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the residence until the service on Monday.
