Authorities are identifying the Allenton man killed in a two-vehicle crash Thanksgiving night in Amherst. The Portage County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old Douglas Curley lost control of his pickup towing a loaded utility trailer on Highway 10, entered the median and went airborne. Curley’s truck landed partially on a Jeep before rolling over and hitting a guardrail. Curley died at the scene. The driver and passenger in the Jeep were extricated by firefighters and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
