Running back Jonathan Taylor broke away from tackles and cruised into the end zone for his third touchdown as Wisconsin beat Purdue in three overtime periods Saturday 47-44. Taylor rushed for 321 yards and Danny Davis the Third made a pair of clutch touchdown catches as the Badgers came from behind. Purdue led 27-13 when Wisconsin scored on Davis’ one-handed catch with three minutes, 17 seconds to go. It was the 13th straight win for U-W over Purdue. Back up quarterback Jack Coan was much steadier, hitting 16-of-24 passes for 160 yards and the two scores to Davis. Wisconsin wraps up the regular season at home next Saturday with the Border Battle against Minnesota.
