The Indiana Hoosiers jumped out to a 19-4 lead and Marquette never managed to catch up Wednesday in a 96-73 road defeat. The Golden Eagles had just been ranked in the top-25 of a national poll for the first time in several years. Three Golden Eagles — Sam and Joey Hauser, and Markus Howard — each scored 18 points to lead the way. Indiana’s was up by at least 21 points throughout the final 10 minutes of the one-sided game. Marquette returns home to the Fiserv Forum for a Saturday game against Presbyterian.
