Emergency officials say a 19-year-old was in injured when kicked by a horse Wednesday afternoon at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary School in Madison. The Madison Fire Department responded to the U-W Veterinary School for a report of a 19-year-old who was injured. Emergency personnel say horse had kicked up its leg and struck the person in the head. Emergency crews say the patient didn’t lose consciousness but reported seeing stars. Paramedics tended to the injured teen’s head wound and then transported the teen to a nearby hospital emergency room for treatment.
