With shovels in hand, Shawano County officials broke ground for a new human services building last Friday. The county purchased the Denison Retail Lumber property on Anderson Avenue, and approved borrowing $14.6 for the project. The existing lumber company building will be used for Lakeland Center services, while the new building will be home to the Fellman Center.
