This is day six of the nationwide search for a 13-year-old girl from Barron County whose parents were shot and killed Monday. Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says a large volunteer search effort did not produce any substantial information about the whereabouts of Jayme Closs. Fitzgerald has told reporters he 100 percent believes Jayme is alive but in danger. There have been more than 800 tips in the case. Dispatch logs released Friday revealed a 9-11 call was made from the Closs home Monday from Jayme’s mother Denise’s cellphone. Four minutes later deputies found Denise and James Closs shot to death. A nationwide amber alert is issued for Jayme and she’s been added to the F-B-I’s top kidnapping and missing persons list.
