Beginning October 20, 2018 until March 9, 2019 (weather dependent) Emergency Management will not be conducting the audible Saturday outdoor warning system test at noon, although silent tests will continue to be performed throughout the winter. Please remember the sirens are for outdoor warning only. If you are waiting for the sirens to take action you are waiting too long. The sirens are not intended to be heard inside your home or business. To be warned indoors Outagamie County Emergency Management recommends each residence have a NOAA weather radio which will alert you when severe weather is approaching. For more information on the outdoor warning sirens or on NOAA weather radios, contact the Outagamie County Emergency Management office at 920-832-5148.
