The manager of First Student Transportation Company in Wausau says the average school bus driver sees 12-to-15 violations of warning signals every day. The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department is getting involved because the number seems to be growing. Buses outfitted with security cameras show drivers actually increasing their speed as they try to pass the bus while students are getting off. Deputies are going to be riding the buses and failure to comply with a stop arm or amber flashing lights can cost a driver a 326-dollar ticket.
