A 3-1 win Monday afternoon at Wrigley Field secures the National League Central Division title for the red-hot Milwaukee Brewers. Lorenzo Cain knocked in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning and the Milwaukee bullpen locked down the team’s eighth-straight victory entering the playoffs. Shortstop Orlando Arcia went four-for-four, Corey Knebel got the win in relief and Josh Hader closed it out. The Cubs’ only run came on an Anthony Rizzo homer. The victory in the tie-breaker by Milwaukee means the Cubs host Colorado today (Tuesday) in the Wild Card game. The Brewers are off until Thursday when they meet the winner of that game.
