The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is reminding Milwaukee Brewers fans to beware of fake playoff ticket scams. Postseason tickets went on sale Friday and state officials say scammers may use the demand for tickets to pitch fake ticket scams. The DATCP recommends Brewers fans seek tickets from official sources and be on the lookout for phony offers. Consumer Protection Director Michelle Reinen says to be skeptical of too-good-to-be true offers, sellers offering ticket printouts or photocopies, and requests to pay by wire transfer or a pre-paid debit card. Reputable tickets are available through the Major League Baseball sales channels including the Brewers ticket office or M-L-B Ballpark app.
