Mae Lucille Krueger, age 92 of Shawano, passed away early Friday morning, September 28, 2018 at Shawano Health Service.
Mae was born July 5, 1926 in Shawano, a daughter of the late Gust and Leona (Peterman) Moede. She graduated from Shawano High School. On August 2, 1947 she was united in marriage to Carl Krueger. He preceded her in death in October, 2011. Mae was a bookkeeper for Coca Cola for several years. She enjoyed gardening, farming, and sewing in her free time. She was a long time member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Mae didn’t want her obituary to list her life. Whatever she did was for her Lord and Master and that’s all that mattered to her.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie (Duane) Schutt and Sally (Ron) Mickelson; her grandchildren, Melissa (Gene) Garry, Brennen (Tina) Mickelson, and Tammie (Steve) Schenk; her great-grandchildren, Danielle (Lance) Rud, Megan (special friend, Jake) Garry, Ashley Mickelson, Blaine Mickelson, Josh Schenk, and Faith Schenk; great-great-grandchildren, Eloise Rud, Gavin Rud, and Greyson Mickelson; her siblings, Elaine (Ray) Midkiff, Pat (special friend, Madonna) Moede, Jim (Nancy) Moede, John (Delia) Moede; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Moede and Betty Moede; and brother-in-law, Bob Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and her siblings, Louise (Earl) Berger, Charlotte (Eldon) Heinz, Isabelle (Gene) Maltbey, Annabelle (Arnold) Krause, Gordon Moede, Marshall Moede, Orvis (Nancy) Moede, and Lucy Johnson.
A funeral service for Mae Lucille Krueger will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Mr. Will Kleinschmidt will officiate. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until the hour of service.
